Xiaojing Valley is located on the Yuexi River of the tributary of the Minjiang River in the boundary of Baohua and Liujia Towns, Rong County. The normal water level of the reservoir is 431 meters; the dam is 98 meters high. The reservoir’s capacity is about 180 million cubic meters. The stratum of its location is mainly sand and mudstone interbedding of Xujiahe formation. The aquifer with sandstone as the representative and relative aquiclude with mudstone as the representative form the multiple aquifers.
