The Spinulose Tree Fern Valley is 2 kilometers long with an area of 10 square kilometers, outcropping brick red sandstone of Wotoushan Formation in lower Cretaceous system (140-99 million years ago). The climate is the subtropical monsoon climate. The Valley is well-known for its precious spinulose tree ferns. Around 16,000 spinulose tree ferns are distributed here, forming a magnificent and beautiful Cyathea flora. There are also geological landscapes like Square Well Waterfall and stalactite etc.
