Preservation & Conservation
The Geopark has set up "Notice to Tourists" signs and warning signs, compiled promotional foldouts, and published notices on its website to inform tourists of the prohibited behaviours. It has installed a real-time surveillance system and implemented protective measures at key geological sites such as the Dashanpu Dinosaur Fossil Site, Qinglongshan Dinosaur Fossil Site, Shenhai Well, and Silicified Wood Site in Changshan Range. Dedicated personnel are responsible for guarding and preserving these important geological sites.
The general code of conduct for tourists in the Geopark is the Convention on Civilised Behaviour of Chinese Citizens in Domestic Tourism. Additionally, the Geopark disseminates basic behaviour guidelines to tourists through promotional foldouts. At the main entrances of major scenic areas, there are notices to tourists to publicise the prohibited behaviours in the Geopark. Besides, notices to tourists and warm tips have been set up at all important geological sites and tourist Centers.
At the same time, the geopark will regularly preserve geoheritages such as dinosaur fossils and silicified wood.
