Locating more than 20 km north of Ziliujing District, Sanduozhai is a typical castle built by salt merchants in the Xianfeng Period of Qing Dynasty. This is a rare super-sized castle with complete facilities in such a precipitous place in Sichuan, it is said: if one man guards the pass, ten thousand are unable to get through. It has gradually become the residence and summer resort of salt merchants in Zigong. Currently, Sanduozhai still has more than one hundred buildings, reminding us of its past prosperity.
