Lede Red Soil

Address: The Lede Red Soil is in southern part of Rongxian County and about 14km from the County.

Transport: self-driving; drive along County Road Rongniu Road to Lede Passenger Station in Lede Town and turn to Zijian Road and drive 2.1 km to Tiangongmiao Village, the site of Lede red earth.

Opening Time: All year round.

Spring is the best tour season for Lede Red Soil. In spring, rape flowers, pea flower and white pear flowers blossom on the terraced fields, colorful and changing; the delicate and charming color blocks spread to the horizon, fluctuating, continuous, scattered and as beautiful as the pattern in fairyland.

Shisun Valley

Address: Shisun Valley is located in the north to Tiechang Town, Rongxian County.

Transport: Starting from Rongxian County, drive via Rongzhou Avenue Second Section and Third Section, drive to Jingrong Road, drive for about 12km, turn left into the tunnel on the left and finally reach Shisun Valley. Currently, only cars (including passenger car, go anywhere vehicle and business car) can pass the tunnel; please drive with care when driving on mountain road. The total mileage is about 16km and takes around 40min.

There is a tea production base in Shisun Valley. The base has been developed into an ecological tea base, where tourists may come to experience tea production processes like tea-picking, tea-sunning and tea-frying, etc. At present, there are 2 home inns in Shisun Valley to provide board and lodging services.

Hualong Valley

Address: Hualong Valleyis located in Baxing Village, Changshan Town, Rongxian Town, Zigong.

Transport: Drive from Shisun Valley via the tunnel, turn left to Jingrong Road, drive for about 12.6km; turn left at Shuanggu Town to Rongfu Road, keep driving for 13.6km and arrive at Laimou Town; turn left to S305, drive for 9km, drive for 8km along the front-left road at Yingwoyan, and arrive at Hualong Valley (please be careful when driving on mountain road). The total mileage is about 45km and takes around 1h and 30min.

Hualong Valley is a good place for summer and is called “Little Shu'nan Bamboo Forest”. The spectacular Shunhe Grand Canyon is on the way from Shisun Valley to Hualong Valley.

Qinglongshan Dinosaur Fossil Site

Address: Guanshan Town, Rongxian County.

Transport: self-driving, drive along Provincial Highway S305 and turn from Wutong Village to township road for 1.3 km.

Opening hours: all year round.

Duration: 1h.

Ticket fare: open scenic spot, free of charge.
